From an early age, Peter was exposed to the arts with the help of his primary school teacher Sheena Powell. Drawing, painting, jewellery making, and school productions, Sheena was also an accomplished musician which had a great influence on him. School holidays were often spent roaming the land with his parents viewing art galleries in stately homes and castles and exhibitions.

After leaving school and completing an electrical apprenticeship, Peter moved to Bath in the West Country where he fine-tuned his love for percussion instruments, his father had encouraged him to play drums from a young age and it was time to put it to good use.

Peter moved to London in the mid-1980s to work at a recording studio, it wasn’t long before he’d moved from behind the mixing desk to playing sessions, joining a string of bands with varying successes.

1995 found Peter moving to the USA and joining the rock band NYLOOSE. The band accomplished great heights with platinum record sales touring with the likes of The Ramones, Alice Cooper, Marilyn Manson, etc but like all good things, this came to an end.

​

Peter worked on scenic painting and set design for bands, tv, and film in Hollywood and New Orleans, before moving back to London where he carried on where he left off in The States.

​

In 2001 Peter moved back to his hometown in the rolling Cotswolds hills. Since then he has worked as an electrician and is now more inspired than ever before. Painting, using oils and watercolours, and the odd collage he is encompassing all his experiences of the last 40 years onto canvas.
